Friday, September 29th is the last day for the Blackshere PTO Apparel orders. Please make sure your order form and money is turned into homeroom teachers by the end of the day.

Blackshere Families, our 21st Century afterschool program is about to begin. This year there will be buses that will run if transportation is needed. If you are interested in signing up your Kindergarten through 4th graders, please send their classroom teacher a note for an application.

Blackshere's Celebrating Grandparents is the week of September 11 thru the 15th. If you have signed up to eat a lunch with the children you can bring $4.50 to school the day of the lunch your attending or you can go online and pay. Blackshere Elementary's confidentiality training will take place Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at 5:30 pm in the library.

Picture Day for Blackshere Elementary School is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug 29. This event's Order Code is 80618HF. Online ordering is available before and after Picture Day. Shipping and handling charges may apply to orders placed after Picture Day.

TIME CHANGE!! Blackshere PTO will be holding the last meeting of the year, tomorrow night, Tuesday @ 5:00. We will be electing new officers for next year and discussing activities for next year so please grab a friend and come join us!! Also, our new principal will be in attendance, so come out and meet Mrs. Henline!! Our first graders will also be hosting a Night at the Zoo at 6pm. Come out and see all the great things happening at Blackshere.

As a reminder, 4th grade students will graduate at 9:00 am on Friday the 26th at Blackshere. Please have your child wear blue jeans or blue jean shorts as they will be wearing either a red, white, or blue t-shirt provided by us. After graduation, we will have sign-out sheets in the gym for each homeroom. Please make sure you sign your child out if he/she is leaving with you for the day. Thank you!

Blackshere's picture day has been moved to March 20th, 2023. Only those who purchased picture packages will be photographed on this day.

There will be no afterschool activities at Blackshere Elementary facility tomorrow February 17th. This includes basketball practice at Balckshere and the afterschool program.
