This is a Bison Herd Alert: There will be signups for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade cheerleading and boys basketball on Monday September 23 and Wednesday September 25 from 4:00-5:30. Signups will be held in the Barrackville K/Pre-K Annex building. The registration fee is $55.00
We hope to have a team for each grade level. If we are unable to obtain enough players and/or coaches, then players will be given the option to play on a combined team (with another school) or play a grade level above their current grade.
Refunds will be provided if the option available is not acceptable to the player.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Our Back to School Bash is Monday! We are so excited to see the Bison Herd! Here are a few reminders regarding event parking.
The upper Church of Christ lot will be closed at 5:30 on Monday due to an event at the church. If you are planning on attending the open house and staying for the evening, please use the lower lot at the Methodist Church or the Bethesda Church lot.
The front loop of the school will be closed beginning at 1pm for our vendors to arrive and set up.
If it's possible, please walk to the open house. The forecast has changed and it's going to be a great evening! Thank you so much for your cooperation in making this a fantastic event! See you at the Bash!

This is a Bison Herd Alert: UPDATES FOR WALKERS AT DISMISSAL Walkers are students who walk unaccompanied home to and from school. During dismissal, students MUST leave campus at designated areas. Front crosswalk, Maple Ave crosswalk, back crosswalk at the playground or annex sidewalk. Due to concerns for student safety, students who do not use these designated areas will receive a discipline referral that can impact their participation in PBIS reward days. Your child will receive a full copy of arrival and dismissal procedures on the first day of school for you to review. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

This is a Bison Herd Alert PARENT PICK CHANGES- Parent pick up will only dismiss from the Bethesda Baptist Church parking lot. Chief Wilson, along with school personnel, will be in the parking lot to line cars up in three lines. No cars will be dismissed from the Church Of Christ or Methodist Church lots to alleviate blocked entrances and exits.
Parents should not arrive in the lot prior to 3pm. We appreciate your help with this change.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Please make plans to join us for the Back to School Bash on August 19th beginning at 3 pm. Meet your teachers from 3-5 pm. Food Trucks will be in the front loop from 3-6 for purchase. Our local churches will again host the school supply store in the gym. PTO, the BVFD, and BPD will host activities from 5-7 in the back of the school. Class lists will not be released until August 19th. Also, class supply lists can be accessed on the school website by clicking Explore, then Documents.

Must have proof of required immunizations, proof of residence (physical address not PO Box), and Certificate of Live Birth (from the WV Bureau of Vital Statistics or the County Courthouse- not the hospital).

This is a Bison Herd Alert: K-4th grade students will participate in PBIS Reward Day and Field Day on Tuesday, May 28th in the afternoon. Eligible Students will be outside all afternoon enjoying lots of fun games and ice cream. Please be sure to pack extra water, sunscreen, a change of clothes (there will be water games), and have students wear tennis shoes. Middle School students will also be outside. Please remind them to bring extra water and sunscreen. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.
